Miami (Florida) - This special mongrel enchanted users on TikTok with its curious appearance. The reason: his parents. The dog is the "result" of a "romantic" liaison between a female American Bulldog and a male Chihuahua.

More than 10 million users have watched the video on TikTok . The owner's dry comment: "This wasn't planned, but we love our little Kobe."

The so-called American Bullhuahua, who lives with the young American woman in Miami, has classic features of both parents. The small body and the pointed upright ears are reminiscent of the Chihuahua part. Kobe's muzzle and eyes, on the other hand, are more reminiscent of the American Bulldog.

The video in which Kobe was introduced received more than 1.4 million likes and several thousand comments. There are also several follow-up videos that TikTok user xo.tatzzz has since posted.

So was the "dog sex accident" a good idea? Newsweek checked with evolutionary biologist Frank Hailer.

"It is important to be aware that it may take several attempts to cross the same breeds until you have offspring with the desired traits. This is a normal process in animal breeding, but should be left to professionals," says the expert.

Kobe, who is now called Scrappy-Doo (the nephew of the cartoon dog Scooby-Doo) by his owner and many others, is fortunately a lot of fun even without the intervention of an expert.
