Netherlands - When a dog causes trouble, it's normal for owners to have consequences from time to time. But instead of scolding him or giving him the cold shoulder, these owners chose a particularly curious form of punishment - and caused a lot of amusement in the process.

In a short clip on TikTok , golden retriever Bearson can be seen hanging in his owner's arms. He had grabbed him by the legs and lifted him up. And the four-legged friend doesn't like that at all.

"When your 40-kilogram golden retriever doesn't listen and is sent to air prison," his owner comments on the funny shot as she films the curious spectacle.

"Well, what do you think?" she asks the cheeky dog again and again, giggling to herself. Her partner also seems to find the situation hilarious. In complete contrast to Bearson himself.

He is anything but thrilled with his punishment, staring insulted and sulking the whole time. He doesn't find his family's reaction at all appropriate.

The dog's more than 13,500 followers reacted enthusiastically. Within a very short time, the post was viewed more than 34,000 times. The comment column is filled with smiles and heart emojis.

What exactly Bearson had done to deserve this punishment was not revealed by his owners. In other videos that have since gone online on the channel, however, it can be seen that the dust has long since settled.

They show him cuddling his favorite stuffed animal with great contentment, going for walks with his owners and fighting for his owner's attention.

So apparently everything is back on track.
