Pupils make noise in music class, but therapy dog simply falls asleep
Millville (USA) - Therapy dog Cole was born completely deaf. A video showing him falling asleep in the middle of his work has captured many hearts on the internet.

Cole has been working as a full-time therapy dog in various schools for six years. The pit bull is already a real star with teachers and pupils alike.
But even Cole gets tired from time to time - and when he does, sleep is clearly his top priority. A video shared on the TikTok channel "deafcole" caught the four-legged friend sleeping in an elementary school music class.
Lying comfortably on a beanbag with his paws up, Cole is completely oblivious to the noise of the pupils as he can't hear a thing.
Cole's owner Chris Hannah told Newsweek that he works as a music teacher himself and that Cole makes his job a lot easier. They both live in the small town of Millville, New Jersey.
"Being deaf is certainly an advantage when you work in the loudest room in the building. As the students always say, Cole can't hear with his ears, but he listens with his heart," Chris said.
TikTok users love deaf therapy dog
The video quickly went viral, reaching over 6.3 million views and 960,000 likes on TikTok .
"How much faith he must have in you guys," commented one touched user. "That looks like a happy baby sleeping position to me. May he continue to be so peaceful and unmolested," wrote another.
As with humans, deafness in dogs can be congenital or acquired - this varies from dog to dog. Many four-legged friends also tend to become deaf as they get older.
