The pack gets into a biting argument: What the alpha animal then does silences everyone
Hebei (China) - A man runs an animal shelter for dogs of all breeds in a rural province of China . It's no surprise that fights sometimes break out among the more than a dozen four-legged friends, who come from a wide variety of backgrounds. But the owner needn't worry too much about this, because one furry friend has everything under control. The impressive alpha animal inspires millions of users online.

In Hebei, the man, who is said to be in his forties, keeps a whole flock of dogs on his farm. Some of the animals he bred himself, others are strays that he rescued from the streets, explains a user in the comments section on Instagram .
One of these former street dogs is the Xiasi dog called "King Charles". And his name is no coincidence, as the four-legged friend has achieved an unparalleled status since his birth.
In a viral video, you can see how a fight breaks out between several dogs in the pack. The four-legged friends aggressively bark at each other, letting their teeth and muscles do the talking.
But before the situation can escalate completely, alpha dog King Charles arrives. His appearance could not be more epic:
Completely at peace with himself, the four-legged friend comes trotting up while the other pack members make way for him. A black Great Dane, almost twice the size of the Xiasi dog, even appears to bow nervously to King Charles. A German shepherd starts barking loudly at the arrival of the leader - almost as if he wants to announce the alpha dog.

Leader confidently resolves conflict in the pack

Then everything happens very quickly. King Charles seems to know immediately who has instigated the conflict and runs purposefully towards a dog with black fur on its back called "Black Number Four". The dog immediately submits, but still bares its teeth angrily.
The leader of the pack remains calm and stands proudly over the dog lying on the ground. As a final official act, he then demonstratively places his paw on the rioter's neck and thus ends the current confrontation with dignity.
Further videos published on the Instagram profile from China show that the alpha dog can also do things differently. Together with his loyal subordinates, King Charles seems to take care of quarrels in the pack on a daily basis and usually corrects the other dogs calmly, but occasionally with the use of bumps and teeth.
The Xiasi dog was "not born to be a king", writes the user, but already endured daily fights at the tender age of three months, during which he was often injured. In the end, King Charles confronted the pack leader at the time, "Big Head", whose leadership position he still holds undisputed today after his fierce victory.
The owner of the shelter shows his everyday life with the many different dogs on his profile on the "Douyin" platform. In the meantime, his videos have also spread on Instagram and TikTok, where viewers enthusiastically follow how King Charles confidently leads the pack.
