When a woman sees how dogs treat her dachshund in the park, she is not the only one who is heartbroken

New Jersey (USA) - Small dog, big emotions: For almost a week now, TikTok users have been suffering with Frank the dachshund from New Jersey. The video has already received ten million clicks, breaking the heart not only of Frank's owner, but also of many other dog lovers.

As is so often the case on TikTok , just a few seconds - in this case 16 - are enough to convey the touching story. At first, you see Frank the dachshund standing shyly on the sidelines of the dog park.

Then he slowly stalks forward, trying to join in the play of the other furry friends. But while the four-legged friends happily wrestle with each other and play tag, Frank remains on the left.

Not one of the dogs pays the male dog the slightest bit of attention, even though Frank makes every effort to join in the game of tag.

In the end, the dachshund gives up, runs to his owner and sadly stands back on the sidelines. It's no wonder that many TikTok users are touched by these pictures. Mistress Jordan Mandel is also touched by the bittersweet moment.

But in a recent interview with Newsweek, she was able to announce some good news.

First TikTok video touches so many, second one gives hope

"My sister and I take him to the dog park, which has two areas, one for bigger dogs and one for smaller dogs," Mandel told the US magazine.

"He usually prefers the big dogs, probably because he thinks he's one too - and they're a little less active, which he likes," she said.

However, the big dogs in turn have little interest in the small four-legged friend. A dilemma that is often only resolved when there are dachshunds or corgis among the smaller dogs on the other side of the park.

That's because they can often do something with Frank and enjoy playing with him. A few days ago, Mandel provided the proof on TikTok. In the clip, the dachshund can be seen playing happily in the park with the other small dogs.

"I think it's the similar body shape that attracts them to each other," suspects Mandel. In any case, there is now a happy ending for Frank too.
