USA - Could it get any cuter? When a golden retriever recently noticed that his mistress had made herself comfortable in the bathtub, he immediately knew what to do.

Instead of giving her a little rest and withdrawing, he went straight into the bathroom himself and watched his owner, Sophia, for a while.

He then placed his front paws on the edge of the bathtub before sticking his nose in the foam. Entranced by his favorite human's spa, he slowly lifted himself up.

But what exactly was the furry friend up to?

"I'm just going to sit here," Sophia wrote from her dog 's perspective in the caption of a video that she has since shared on her TikTok account . And lo and behold: as if in slow motion - as if he wanted to avoid his owner noticing - the four-legged friend climbed over the edge of the bathtub.

When the golden retriever finally arrived in the warm water, he looked at Sophia scrutinizingly - as if silently asking her permission - and finally made himself comfortable on her legs.

So much for having a little spa time to yourself. Fortunately, Sophia took the whole thing with humor, but captioned the clip with the hashtag "no privacy whatsoever".

The clip quickly went viral online and has already been viewed more than 15.8 million times. Viewers reacted with rapture.

One of them wrote: "He just thought to himself: 'You know what? I've had a tough week too!" Another: "I absolutely couldn't be mad at him."

And Sophia feels the same way. Instead of getting into a fight with her darling, she makes room for him: "Now I just leave him in the bathtub with me." Anything else is pointless anyway.
