USA - It doesn't get much sweeter than this. Actually, the young woman had only intended to crochet a little. However, her golden retriever had other plans.

The four-legged friend Remy was convinced that he hadn't been stroked for far too long. And that was exactly what needed to be changed as quickly as possible.

So while his owner made herself comfortable in an armchair and continued crocheting her blanket, the dog sat down at her feet - and started begging.

In a video that has since been posted online on his TikTok account , the golden retriever can be seen contorting himself to attract attention.

First, he throws his head back, bends his back and lays his head on his favorite human's lap.

However, after this only earns him a small kiss and a far too brief petting session, he drops theatrically to the floor in front of her.

His mistress laughs and interrupts her work.

"Okay, one more belly scratch for Remy," she giggles as she strokes his soft fur. When she turns back to her blanket, the furry friend stares at her in horror.

"Okay, okay," she laughs again. "I guess I'm done crocheting for the day. It must be tummy time now."

A statement that Remy seems thoroughly satisfied by. He lays his head back with pleasure and lets his sweetheart cuddle him.

What he doesn't realize at this point is that his mistress doesn't keep her promises.

After just a few seconds, she returns to her crochet project.

Remy doesn't find this funny at all. Instead of continuing to vie for her attention, he simply remains lying on the floor - and stares off into the distance, offended. Will he ever be able to forgive his owner?
