Family finds car completely destroyed: Then they discover who is inside
California (USA) - A family from California's Butte County is looking for a new car, but not because their old one has given up the ghost. Instead, the car had been completely destroyed - by a bear.

The Wells family rushed to their car last week in a fright because the horn of their Subaru had sounded several times, even though no one had been sitting in the car. At least that's what they thought.
But on closer inspection, Amanda Wells discovered a bear in her Subaru, which had been on a rampage. The broken windshield, shattered windows and ripped-out dashboard were evidence of the havoc the animal had wreaked.
However, asPeople reports, the family was not the least bit worried about their destroyed car, but much more about what would become of the bear. "I was more worried about the bear - he looked exhausted and overheated. We were worried he might die there," Amanda Wells emphasized.
The family waited over an hour for the animal to find its own way out, but when they realized that wasn't going to happen, they took the initiative to help it themselves.
Amanda's husband shot the remaining windows of the car with his rifle, clearing the way for the bear to escape.

Unharmed, the animal disappeared into the nearby woods, while the Wells' Subaru was completely wrecked.
As the couple have no insurance, they are now raising money for a new car via GoFundMe.
