Parents pick up children from school when suddenly this dangerous animal crosses their path
Florida (USA) - Parents and teachers are bustling around in a preschool parking lot to pick up their children or to leave for a well-deserved break when suddenly a three-meter-long alligator intervenes.

In a statement on Facebook , Hillsborough County police report that they were called to a "flaky situation outside Fishhawk Early Learning Preschool."
When officers arrived on the scene, they initially breathed a sigh of relief. After all, the alligator that triggered the call-out has long been known in the area. Local residents even christened him Elvis.
However, the trained officers intervened so as not to put anyone in danger during the rush hour outside the school grounds.
A video posted by the police to accompany their statement shows officers wrestling with the animal . With the help of a trap setter, they were finally able to catch Elvis and roll him onto his back.
As the clip also shows, a woman who had rushed over helped them to get the alligator onto a wooden board and then hoist it onto the back of a truck.

Elvis is an integral part of the community
However, under the post, the locals are by no means scared, but rather concerned about Elvis. One of the users writes that he lives nearby and is already used to the animal, as Elvis has been roaming their neighborhood for years.
Residents can tell that it is always one and the same animal because Elvis is missing a foot. "I really hope he has been relocated and not put to sleep," they continue.
