We see how the young German shepherd dog waits very well-behaved on a meadow in front of a pond. Then it gets going. His master lets him off the lead. There's no stopping the furry friend.

The dog runs to the water, lies down and drinks. He obviously doesn't understand that he can also swim in the water. Then he gives it a try, dares to enter the water and hops around like a bunny. It is a moment of pure happiness.

The furry friend is obviously having the time of its life and is overwhelmed by the water on its fur. The dog quickly runs out of the water again, running circles on land and rolling happily on the ground.

Then the dog returns to shore and assumes the so-called front low body position, also known as "play bow" - a body position that signals: "Let's play. I have peaceful intentions."

Clearly, this German Shepherd can't get enough of the cool water. Master understands: "I don't think my rescued dog has ever seen a body of water."
