Kidnapped by IS and sold to Hamas: 21-year-old released after ten years in captivity
Gaza - Fawzia Amin Sido (21) was held captive by Hamas for ten years. Now the young woman has regained her freedom.

As reported by the Jerusalem Post, Fawzia was freed in an operation led by the USA and Israel.
The operation had been planned well in advance, but could only be carried out now due to the war between Israel and Hamas.
Fawzia was abducted from her home in 2014 when Islamic State jihadists carried out terrorist attacks on Yazidi communities in large parts of Iraq.
The then eleven-year-old girl was initially held captive by IS, but was then sold to Hamas and abducted to the Gaza Strip.
Of the more than 6,000 Yazidis kidnapped by IS in Iraq in 2014, around 3,500 have been rescued or freed in recent years. More than 2,500 people are still missing - most of them are presumed dead.
