Flight from hurricane fails: Four men crash their plane
Florida (United States) - Another hurricane is racing towards the coast of Florida. Four Americans and a four-legged friend tried to escape the impending hurricane in a private plane . But the plane crashed!
Hurricane Milton is expected to hit the east coast of the USA today, Wednesday. On Tuesday, four men aged between 25 and 40 and a dog tried to escape the hurricane.
As reported by"People", the plane took off from Albert Whitted Airport in western Florida. But shortly afterwards, the engine apparently failed and the plane crashed.
The plane sank completely in Tampa Bay, just a few hundred meters from the coast.
Fortunately, a police officer was in a private boat near the crash site so that the passengers could be helped immediately.
A spokeswoman for the Saint Petersburg Police Department told People that the four men and a small dog were rescued from the water.
Three passengers in hospital after plane crash
The passengers and the four-legged friend were brought safely back to land, where they were immediately met by local firefighters.
Three of the men had to be taken to hospital, where they were treated as a result of the plane crash.
