When owners see what their dachshund is barking at on the wall, they can only shake their heads
USA - Bowie the little dachshund may not be the smartest of his kind, but he does take good care of himself. Now the young male dog has once again made a "little mistake". If Bowie could, he would probably laugh at himself - assuming he understands the "problem".

"Well, what's that?" Bowie must have thought to himself as he sat in the courtyard the other day and looked at the wall. The little dachshund did what had to be done, boldly walked up to the nuisance and started barking at it.
The only problem was that there was nothing there. Bowie was barking at a shadow, as revealed in the cute video that his master Trent recently shared on Reddit. It shows Bowie standing very close to the wall, barking incessantly. Then everything clears up. The shadow came from a crow that had made itself comfortable on the power line in front of the house.
"Bowie-dog is many things - sweet, happy, a very good boy - but not that clever..." Trent had to admit to himself by now.
The little dachshund enchants the Internet

Although Bowie turns four on Tuesday, his dog is somehow "still like a puppy", dog owner Trent Smith told Newsweek magazine. "He has zero worries and zero thoughts" and brings "endless joy" to his family.
"His favorite thing to do is spend time in the backyard, hopping around like a bunny and chasing lizards, butterflies and the shadows of birds. He lives with me, my wife, his littermate Rory and his sister aunt, Zora the pug, and is a constant embarrassment to both of them," says the dog owner with a wink.
Dachshunds are actually considered to be very clever dogs. The "Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen" (VDH - German Kennel Club), for example, writes about the charming dog breed: "His look is alert and indeed, a very bright head is hidden behind his enterprising eyes. Dachshunds know exactly what they want. And they know how to achieve their goals."
Bowie is no exception, he just sees the world "slightly" differently.
