Boxing star reveals baby drama: "My wife had to give birth to our dead son!"

Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) - It was supposed to be another crowning moment of their great love, but boxing star Tyson Fury (36) and his wife Paris (34) 's eighth child together ended in a painful drama.

"My wife had to give birth to our dead son," said the Brit at a press conference, as reported by TheSun.

Only now has he revealed the terrible hours that took place in the family shortly before his big fight against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (37) on May 18 this year.

On the Friday before the fight, his wife called him and said she couldn't fly to Saudi Arabia for the duel because she had high blood pressure. Completely selflessly, she did not want to worry her husband before one of his most important duels.

But Fury immediately suspected that something was wrong, as he knew that his wife was already six months pregnant with their eighth child. The couple have been in a similar situation twice before.

In 2014, Paris lost a baby, and in 2018 she suffered the same fate again on the day of her husband's fight against Sefer Seferi (45). She kept the miscarriage a secret from him. She kept quiet this time too, but Fury knew immediately what was going on.

He said to his brother: "She's lost the baby" and unfortunately he was right.

On the day of his fight, Paris had to give birth to the dead child without him. "I couldn't be there for her at that moment and that's hard for me," he explained now ahead of the rematch, which is due to be held on December 21.

He added: "I've been with this woman longer than I haven't, so it was extremely painful that I left her alone in that moment."

He does not want the drama to be seen as an excuse for his defeat at the time. Afterwards, he did not want to talk about the incident any further, as he would otherwise "burst into tears". The story only got rolling because a reporter asked him at a press conference whether he would like to have more children.

In the past, the couple had announced that they wanted to have twelve children, but this was now uncertain, as neither of them knew whether they would be emotionally, and Paris physically, able to do so after this shock.
