Stinky fountain gushes out of the sewer!

Moscow - A huge fountain of sewage sprayed upwards in the Russian capital on Monday.

Several videos of the brown mass of water gushing out of the ground in the middle of a city district were shared on social media.

Apparently, there was a fault in the city's sewer system that caused the sewage to leak.

However, more detailed information on the cause of the smelly incident is not yet known.

According to the footage, the fountain was about as high as a multi-storey building.

Videos of the disgusting incident made people laugh online. Certainly less so for the residents.

The disgusting incident caused amusing reactionsonline. Former Ukrainian government advisor Anton Gerashchenko, for example, called it a "shit show" in his post on X.
