Hollywood model swaps villa for camper: "The best way for a child to grow up!"
Ojaj (USA) - Former model Laura Le Rue (32) has left her life of luxury in Hollywood behind and is now enjoying country life with her daughter in a converted school bus in the US state of California.

The 32-year-old has retired from the limelight and is now living off her home-grown vegetables.
According to the New York Times, she previously worked with renowned photographer David LaChapelle (61) and was often seen with Hollywood stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio (49).
At 16, Le Rue left school to pursue her dream of a modeling career.
But despite the glamorous celebrity life in Hollywood, she felt very unhappy, was fed up with city life and longed for nature.

The 32-year-old was feeling the effects of stress: Her cortisol levels shot up and led to health problems. Slowly but surely, she realized that she had to change something.
She spent a lot of time alone and started therapy.
During her healing journey, she fell in love with a man with whom she led an adventurous life in a caravan.
But when she became pregnant, the relationship began to crumble and they eventually broke up.
Ex-model now lives with her child in a school bus

As the Los Angeles Times reports, she settled in Ojaj (California) and built her own home in an old school bus.
During the coronavirus pandemic , she developed a career as a batik artist and sold self-dyed clothing under her brand "Ride or Dye".
On her YouTube channel, which has over 26,000 subscribers, she gives insights into her new, self-determined life. Her aim is to inspire people and encourage them to take risks.
Despite her converted bus, the 32-year-old spends most of her time outside with her daughter.
"It's the best way for a child to grow up," she tells the US daily newspaper in an interview.
