He later led the police to the place where he had hidden the body.
Police release new details on Mackenzie Michalski murder

On Saturday, the police in Budapest announced new details about the murder case.
The American woman and the suspect are said to have met in a nightclub and then moved on together, according to the investigators.
Later, they apparently went to the suspect's apartment, where the Irishman killed the 31-year-old.
To cover up the murder, the man cleaned his apartment and stowed the woman's body in the closet before later packing it in a suitcase.
He then rented a car and hid the luggage in a wooded area.
Cruel end after a trip to Europe

Mackenzie lived in Portland, Oregon, and had been traveling through Europe with a group of friends before parting ways with them in Hungary on Monday.
According to a friend, the American had planned to stay one more night in Budapest before boarding her flight home on Tuesday.
However, the 31-year-old did not check out of the Airbnb she was sharing with her friends and missed her flight.
Concerned, her friends set up a Facebook group to search for clues as to the whereabouts of the American woman.
On Friday, the woman's family announced the tragic news that their daughter was dead.
