Crutch selfie! UFC star suffers next low blow
Guadalajara (Mexico) - The end of the year has not been kind to Mexican martial artist Alexa Grasso (31): After the mixed martial arts athlete lost her UFC women's flyweightworld title, a nasty injury has now put the next bitter damper on her career.

As the 31-year-old announced on the Instagram platform, she suffered a fracture in her right foot. "Broke my paw during training," reads the post on Tuesday.
The professional athlete also posted a selfie showing her standing in front of a mirror with a crutch and lower leg foot orthosis.
But her approximately 1.4 million followers need not worry, as she also gave the all-clear: "But I'm fine."
According to her, it will just take time for everything to heal. It is not yet known how long the fighter will be out of action.
A year to forget - at least for Alexa Grasso
For the fighter from the Mexican metropolis of Guadalajara, it is already the second setback this calendar year, having already had to relinquish her title at UFC 306 in September to the Kyrgyz and Peruvian fighter Valentina Shevchenko (36).
Just one year earlier, Grasso fought for the UFC world championship against Shevchenko at UFC 285 and left the cage victorious - making her the first female fighter from Mexico and Latin America to win a UFC title.
