According to a report by RTL, the two teenagers met in a hotel in Dubai back in August. They quickly fell in love, spent the rest of their vacation together, got closer and even had sex!

Marcus' new girlfriend's mother knew nothing of their young love, but the two decided to continue their relationship at home in London.

After the girl left, Marcus and his family spent a few more days at the hotel. But the romantic mood quickly changed when Marcus was suddenly arrested by the police at the hotel and taken away.

The 18-year-old couldn't explain why he was arrested. But after spending three days at the police station, he finally found out the reason: the mother of his vacation flame had alerted the police!

Romance blows up after cell phone check

When the mother returned from vacation with her daughter, she checked the chat histories on the girl's cell phone. After the secret romance was discovered, she called the authorities in Dubai, who then took Marcus into custody.

In Dubai, people under the age of 18 are considered children, which makes the intimate relationship between the two teenagers a criminal offense, even though the girl is now of legal age. In Dubai, this makes Marcus a criminal in the eyes of the law and he now faces a prison sentence of 20 years.

Since then, the Fakana family has been paying 2,000 euros every month to keep Marcus, who is still being held in Dubai, out of prison.
