Man causes several accidents while fleeing from police and resists arrest

Hamburg - What was going on? Early on Saturday morning, a man fled from the police in a van in Hamburg , causing several accidents in the process.

As a spokesperson for the police situation service explained when asked by TAG24, the driver had fled from the police in Pfefferstraße in the Rahlstedt district at around 4.45 a.m. for as yet unexplained reasons.

During the chase, the car crashed into several parked vehicles and caused immense damage. Two trees were also damaged and had to be removed by the fire department afterwards.

In one of these accidents, the van was so badly damaged that it could no longer continue on the corner of Rügenwalder Straße and Hohenkamp.

When the officers tried to arrest the man, he put up a massive fight. But without success, he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
