Woman shows off her silliest tattoo: the mistake causes discussion
Los Angeles (California) - A chicken riding a skateboard: Who wouldn't want a tattoo like that for all eternity? Raimee Iacofano from Los Angeles certainly doesn't - although she once had this motif engraved quite deliberately. What went wrong?

This week, the Californian explained her plight in an interview with Newsweek: "I got this tattoo from Ephemeral Tattoo, a company founded on the basis of a new 'biodegradable' ink that dissolves in the body."
The problem: the tattoo was supposed to disappear after twelve months at the latest. But Iacofano has now been waiting for more than two years for it to dissolve.
Nine months after getting the tattoo, it dawned on the young woman for the first time that it would probably not disappear as quickly as she had hoped.
"I realized that it hadn't faded much at all. So I knew there was no way it would be gone after twelve months," Iacofano told the US magazine.
But she now knows that she is not alone.
TikTok video shows the curious problem

At the end of October, the US-American posted a video on TikTok in which she talks about what she calls her "stupidest" tattoo. Since then, the comment bar has been filled with posts from fellow sufferers joining in the discussion.
Because apparently other users also have the problem that their "temporary" tattoos no longer disappear. "While the ink has definitely 'faded', the overall design is still very much intact and visible," confirms Iacofano.
"I don't think I would ever get a visible tattoo again. It feels too permanent for me now, and I want to embrace the constant change of life ."
Nevertheless, the TikToker doesn't really regret her tattoo: "The whole point of this tattoo was to not take things too seriously and I love it for that and can see it that way too."
