A man buys a woman a coat on Amazon: When she puts her hands in her pockets, she gets a surprise
Kentucky (USA) - He only wanted to buy her a coat. But she got so much more ...

Last week, a man (30) from Kentucky posted a curious story on Reddit about what happened to him and his wife. According to the story, his other half tried on a coat that he had ordered for her from Amazon.
When the American woman put her hands in her pockets, she was astonished to find a small key, an Apple AirTag and a Honda car key in one of them.
In an interview with Newsweek this week, the 30-year-old revealed what happened next. They both "froze" for a moment, but then started laughing.
"What should you do in a situation like that?" asked the coat buyer. He then gave the detailed answer himself.
Amazon wants to help the customer

He had tried to find the owner using the Apple AirTag. However, it was not initially in "lost mode", according to the Reddit user. Neither Amazon nor Apple were able to help him, but advised him to go to the police.
But then things took a turn: After a few days, the Apple AirTag was put into "lost mode". The finder was finally able to contact the owner.
He finally sent her the valuables by post, the man told the US magazine. However, he was unhappy with the coat. "Apart from a slight perfume smell, the coat looks new, but we know it's not," he explained.
"It's such a strange situation and we could return it and just buy the same one from a local store. After all, I don't want to spend so much money on a new coat just to get a second-hand one. The packaging it came in was like what they use when they send you something used," the buyer continued.
Amazon finally told Newsweek that it was happy to help the customer. Whether he would like to accept this help, however, was initially left open.
