Abandoning tradition: William and Kate celebrate Christmas without Charles!
England - Prince William (42) and Princess Kate (42) are leaving King Charles (76) on the left: The future royal couple will not be attending the traditional Christmas dinner this year.

Normally, the royal family's Christmas is celebrated at Sandringham House - with a gift exchange on Christmas Eve, a church visit on Christmas Day morning, followed by a feast and the King's speech.
However, as The Sun reports, William and Kate will be foregoing this this year.
After an exciting year for the Prince and Princess of Wales, the two royals are looking forward to a relaxed Christmas in a small circle.
Kate's family is expected this year.
Princess Kate celebrates Christmas with her family

"They prefer the informality of a relaxed lunch (...) And I expect that will be the case again this year when the Middleton family joins them," explained a royal expert.
A celebration with her family, she is sure, is just the right thing for her after Kate's cancer diagnosis .
Kate was not the only one to suffer a heavy blow this year: King Charles is also battling the same illness . While Kate has now completed her treatment, the monarch is still undergoing therapy.
It is therefore assumed that he will also take it easy during this year's festive season.
