After a tough year for the royals: George, Charlotte and Louis grow from strokes of fate

England - The British royal family has had an incredibly tough year with a few blows of fate, but they are looking positively to the future! William and Kate's offspring in particular are set to take center stage this year.

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward is certain that things will look much better for the family of five around Princess Kate (42) and Prince William (42) this year.

It has been particularly difficult for Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6). Not only their grandfather, King Charles (76), but also their mother was diagnosed with cancer.

As People reported, Kate wanted to "spoil the children a little because it's very scary for children when their parents are so ill".

Specifically, Seward said that the future royal couple wanted to go skiing with their children during the Easter vacations and had possibly planned a big summer vacation. This is because the family had not traveled anywhere in the past year.

She added that the royal descendants were all connected through the difficult situation and would get through it together.

"I think it brings them all closer together. (...) The three of them seem to get on incredibly well," said Seward.
