After playoff game: Car crashes into fans, driver taken into custody

Philadelphia - After the Philadelphia Eagles made it to the Super Bowl, a driver drove into a group of fans in the city, injuring three people.

As the police in the US metropolis announced on X, the driver was taken into custody.

According to the police, however, the act does not appear to have been intentional.

The AP news agency reported three injured pedestrians who had seen the game beforehand, citing police reports.

According to the report, the victims did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred at 9.30 p.m. local time.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the play-off game in the evening to reach the Super Bowl on February 9 in New Orleans, where they will face the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs.
