An expensive start to office: Trump's plans will cost over 100 billion dollars!
Washington, D.C. (USA) - US President-elect Donald Trump (78) plans to start his presidency with a package of measures that packs a punch. He wants to sign more than 100 executive orders on his first day in office.

The topic of migration is at the center of his agenda. This naturally includes the wall on the border with Mexico. This was a central point of his first term in office, but was never completed.
Trump is also planning to set up deportation centers for people who are required to leave the country. The deportation of an estimated one million people who are not allowed to stay in the USA by court order is also to be implemented in this way.
Senator James Lankford explained that Trump will initially focus on recent immigrants or criminals.
In addition to migration policy , changes to energy policy, labor law, education and possibly vaccinations are also on the cards.

Although measures such as these are common on the first day of a new presidency, the scale of Trump's plans is unprecedented.
According to senators, the plans to build the wall and deportations alone amount to around 100 billion US dollars.
