Attack on praying man in mosque: Attacker kills man and then films him

La Grand-Combe (France) - After a fatal knife attack on a worshipper in a mosque in the south of France , the suspect is still on the run, according to media reports.

The man allegedly stabbed a worshipper to death in the mosque of La Grand-Combe on Friday, the newspaper Le Parisien reported.
Immediately after the crime, he is said to have filmed the victim with his cell phone, according to the newspaper, citing a source familiar with the investigation. He is said to have insulted Allah.
According to the reports, the attacker is a Frenchman around 20 years old. Surveillance cameras at the mosque filmed the horrific act.
At the time, the victim and the perpetrator were alone in the building; it was not until the morning that other visitors to the place of worship found the dead man.
