Attack on refugee camp? At least four dead after shooting

Dunkirk (France) - Two migrants and two security forces have died by gunfire in northern France .

The suspected perpetrator has turned himself in, a police spokeswoman said.

The motive and circumstances of the crime in Loon-Plage near Dunkirk were initially unclear. According to Sky News, the shooting occurred in a refugee camp.

According to French media reports, a fifth person died from gunfire in nearby Wormhout.

The local newspaper "La Voix du Nord" wrote that the suspect was a man in his early 20s and that the judiciary was investigating.
