Attempted murder at subway station: Man is pushed in front of arriving train!
New York - Just recently, a woman was the victim of a brutal violent crime in a New York subway . Now there have been more gruesome scenes at a station. A man is accused of attempted murder because he pushed another man in front of an arriving train.

According to the police , the incident took place last Tuesday afternoon at the 18th Street Station in Chelsea in the New York borough of Manhattan.
The suspect, Kamel Hawkins, pushed a 45-year-old man in front of an incoming subway train for unknown reasons, according toCNN.
The victim suffered a head injury and a broken rib and had to be hospitalized in critical condition. On Tuesday evening, the man was back in a stable condition.
Fortunately, he was not directly hit by the incoming train. He had sustained the injuries because he had fallen onto the tracks.
An eyewitness recounts the shocking experience
Violet Paley was on the train when the incident occurred. She said that the subway suddenly stopped and that about ten minutes later a conductor reported that there was a person under the train. Shortly afterwards, numerous rescue workers and police officers arrived at the station.
"They pulled him out and he was lying there, and I saw his hands and fingers moving. I was so shocked that he was still alive. It was unbelievable," she recalled.
