"Avicii Forever": New album reminiscent of the "Wake Me Up" DJ

Stockholm (Sweden) - Seven years ago, the tragic death of Swedish DJ Avicii (Tim Bergling, †28) shook the music world . His influence can still be felt today. Now his musical legacy is being celebrated with a special tribute.

On April 17, a very special project was announced on the DJ's official Instagram account , which will continue to operate after his death : "Avicii Forever" - an album as a tribute to Tim and his music.

The compilation is intended to celebrate his "unforgettable melodies and lasting legacy" and brings together 19 of his best-known songs, including timeless classics such as "Wake Me Up", "Hey Brother" and other hits that touched millions of people.

But there is another special highlight. A new track entitled "Let's Ride Away" will also be released. It was probably created together with singer Elle King ("Ex's & Oh's", 35), who also lends her voice to the song.

The new album is due to be released next month on May 16.

Avicii passed away in 2018 at the age of 28. Shortly after his death, his family published a post in which they said goodbye to him and shared insights into his life.
