Baby carriages on fire in the stairwell: cat must be supplied with oxygen

Vienna (Austria) - After a fire in a residential building in Vienna, not only 37 people required medical assistance due to breathing problems.

A cat was also rescued and given oxygen on site, as the Vienna Rescue Service reported on Saturday.

A family of four and a baby had to be treated in hospital.

The fire broke out on Friday in the stairwell of the apartment building in the Austrian capital when two baby carriages started to burn.

The cause of the fire on Muhrengasse was initially unknown. The police have started an investigation.
