Because he's too messy: Woman stabs son (6) with kitchen knife
Chicago (Illinois/USA) - A 26-year-old woman will soon have to stand trial after stabbing her six-year-old son with a kitchen knife.

As the Chicago Police Department stated in a press release, Llovana Torres was taken into custody on May 17. A few hours after she had inflicted serious stab wounds on her own child.
When officers learned shortly afterward the reason for the horrific act, the hairs on the back of their necks must have stood up.
According tocourt documents , Torres had spent the entire night before cleaning up the apartment. When the young child made a mess again shortly afterwards, his mother's fuses blew.
She is said to have hit him first, whereupon the boy ran into the kitchen and hid in a cupboard. Torres then allegedly tried to pull the child towards her, but was unable to do so. She therefore grabbed a knife and stabbed him.
Boy has to be flown to specialist clinic after knife attack

When she noticed shortly afterwards that the little boy was bleeding from the abdomen, she grabbed him and took him to her mother. She then made sure that her grandchild was taken to hospital as quickly as possible.
From there, the six-year-old was taken by rescue helicopter to a specialist clinic where he had to be operated on. He is currently still in hospital and has been put on a ventilator.
Torrez, who will soon have to stand trial for causing grievous bodily harm to a child, is said to have told her mother after the horrific act: "Don't tell anyone what happened and just tell them a different story."
That certainly won't win her any points in front of a judge.
