Because she felt harassed: Woman stabs her boyfriend's dog!

Florida (USA) - A woman (23) allegedly stabbed her boyfriend's pit bull repeatedly with a pocket knife because she felt harassed by the dog.

Megan Lynn Mileskiewicz was arrested on December 29 and accused of inflicting serious injuries on her partner's dog .

Police were notified that morning of the incident in which the 23-year-old allegedly stabbed her significant other's dog repeatedly.

The attack occurred at a home on Russ Circle in Spring Hill in front of several family members.

The two-year-old male dog suffered two clearly visible cuts in the attack, which were not life-threatening but bled profusely.

Megan fled through the back door after the crime and hid behind a tool shed. There she lay face down, surrounded by bushes.

The police eventually found her, but the woman refused to follow instructions and crawl out of her hiding place.

The police eventually had to use force to arrest her.

Under questioning, Megan confessed to having "made a mistake", according to the sheriff's office. She explained that the pit bull had harassed and agitated her.

However, this statement was refuted by the witnesses. According to their reports, the woman had become angry with the dog without warning and then attacked it with a knife.

The 23-year-old was charged with animal cruelty and resisting the police. Her first court date is scheduled for January 28.
