Bloodbath at busy market: More than 50 dead after barbaric attack!

Omdurman - At least 54 people have been killed in a shelling of a busy market in Omdurman in Sudan by the RSF militia.

According to the Sudanese Ministry of Health, 158 people were also injured in the attack in the greater Khartoum area on Saturday. Other reports spoke of an even higher number of victims.

A spokesperson for the aid organization "Doctors Without Borders" (MSF) reported on Sunday in Nairobi that MSF Secretary General Chris Lockyear was in the Al Nao Hospital supported by the organization at the time of the attack.

He described scenes of "absolute carnage": "The morgue is full of dead bodies. There are dozens of injured people with devastating injuries. There are injured people everywhere in the emergency room, while the medical team is doing what it can."
