USA - It's an incredible story that one little girl has already told: At just ten years old, she already has two college degrees - but she's just getting started.

Alisa Perales (10) is making history: she is the youngest graduate of Crafton Hills College in the US state of California.

As People reported, she graduated a few days ago with a degree in science and math.

The child prodigy was accepted to the college at the age of eight.

"I really enjoy learning - almost as much as playing outside or riding my bike or something," Alisa told KABC-TV.

Her enthusiasm for learning was evident from an early age: she was able to recognize letters and numbers at the age of one and was reading entire books by the age of two.

Her father taught the now ten-year-old at home. From the age of five, she had lessons every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. - six days a week!

When she was finally admitted to college on the advice of a guidance counselor, she quickly caused a stir.

"The teachers often thought I was the student and would bring my child with me. When I left, everyone looked puzzled. The professor first had to explain that Alisa was the student," recalled her father Rafael Perales.

It wasn't just in terms of education that Alisa was far ahead of her peers - but also in her development. That's why she found it difficult to make friends.

"It was a challenge to make friends, she doesn't go to a normal school where she can play with her peers at break time. We had to cycle around the neighborhood to find kids to play with," the father added.

He said she was just starting out. Ten years may not be a lot, but she has achieved an incredible amount in that time. Now Alisa hopes to study computer science at Stanford University.
