Climate activists smear party headquarters with dog excrement
Vienna - The ÖVP party headquarters was smeared with dog excrement by climate activists last Wednesday.
Austrian climate activist Anja Windl (28) filmed the act and then posted it on her Instagram channel.
In various pictures and a video, Windl and another person can be seen spreading dog excrement on the doorstep in front of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) headquarters in Vienna on Lichtenfelsgasse and smearing it on the sign with the party's name.
The two then use a black pen to write the slogan: "It stinks of brown shit here" on the wall of the building. In a video, Windl's accomplice, whose real name is Laila, can also be seen spraying the same words again on a wall using spray paint and a stencil.
The background to the action was the ÖVP's willingness to form a coalition with the right-wing FPÖ. This decision was announced by ÖVP leader Christian Stocker (64) at a press conferencelast Wednesday, shortly after which the poo attack took place.

Windl has already been sent to prison for her actions
Anja Windl - also known as Climate Shakira - is one of the best-known German-speaking climate activists and has been a member of FridaysForFuture and the Last Generation, among others.
Windl has already taken part in various sit-in blockades and other Last Generation protests and has already spent 42 days in prison as a result. Despite this, she continues to fight for climate protection and regularly posts about her resistance on Instagram.
