Dachshund puppy howls desperately behind bars: why millions laugh at his situation

London - It can be heartbreaking: the sheer desperation of dachshund puppy Prosecco from London, squeezed behind a fence and howling for help. The sweet dog doesn't know how to get out of this predicament. The video shows why almost a million TikTokers can still laugh about the situation.

Oh dear, the poor puppy just doesn't know what's happening to her. Fortunately, Prosecco's owner Winter (27) is there to show her sweet puppy the way with a wave of her finger.

Because as it turns out in the video, the little one is not locked up at all. Instead, she squeezes herself into her open cage door. After a while, Prosecco finally realizes what her owner wants and happily runs to her.

"Found this video of Prosecco when she still had zero brain cells," jokes Winter in the subtitle of the curious video. It goes down very well with the TikTok audience.

More than 925,000 clicks have been accumulated since the end of November, plus a good 150,000 likes. Reason enough for Newsweek to follow up with Winter this week.

"As a puppy, Prosecco was the smallest baby. She got lost in our house because she was so small," the owner of the now grown-up dachshund lady reminisced in an interview with the US magazine.

Fortunately, the sweet little dog soon knew how to help herself. "Then she started crying when she couldn't find us," says Winter. She also used this method behind bars back then.

You can say what you like: in the end, this method worked for the dachshund girl.

In the meantime, however, Prosecco no longer has to rely on her owner's help. Winter told the news magazine that the sweet furry friend now knows exactly how the important things in life work.
