Days of survival: couple chased by crocodile in the wilderness
Gulf Country (Australia) - What a nightmare! A missing couple struggledto survive for days in the Australian wilderness before they were finally rescued.

As the Daily Mail reported this weekend, the pair had tried to cross a river in their off-road vehicle on their way back from a trip to a remote savannah in Queensland. However, they were caught in a huge tidal wave and their vehicle was swept away by the torrential waters.
Although the couple managed to save themselves, they found themselves helpless in the wilderness with their two dogs, completely on their own. According to the report, they were also chased by a huge crocodile.
The involuntary adventurers then spent three days in the wild - without any provisions! They drew their drinking water from a river populated by crocodiles.
During the day, the two had to endurethe sweltering heat with temperatures of around 40 degrees, while the nights were bitterly cold. But then they had an idea.

In their distress, the two scrawled a large "SOS" on the ground twice in the hope that someone would recognize their plight.
Meanwhile, an acquaintance had already reported them missing after his friends had not returned from their trip as planned.
A rescue team "LifeFligh" was alerted and eventually spotted the couple from the air when they saw the SOS signal.
The pair were rescued, immediately assessed by paramedics and taken by helicopter to hospital where they both received further treatment.
