Disturbing find: 16-year-old girl's head and hands discovered in freezer
Grand Junction - Earlier this year, the new owner of a house in Grand Junction (Colorado, USA ) made a horrific discovery. He found the head and hands of a young girl in a freezer in his newly purchased home. It is now clear who the body parts once belonged to ...

The homeowner wanted to sell a freezer - which he had found in the house - to another person. In the process, they discovered the remains, as"ABC News" reports.
The finders immediately alerted the Mesa County police in Colorado. Now, after a nine-month investigation, the identity has been established with a DNA test.
According to a police report, the remains found belong to Amanda Leariel Overstreet, a girl who disappeared in April 2005.
She was the daughter of the previous homeowner, but was never reported missing, according to authorities. She is believed to have been 16 years old at the time of her disappearance.
Police are investigating further forensic evidence, but emphasize that the new homeowner has no connection to the case.
The investigation into the mysterious case of Amanda Overstreet is still ongoing. Please respect the privacy of the current owner and do not take any photos of the house.
