The emergency services were alerted to the accident on a railroad bridge on Saturday evening.

The BBC broadcaster showed footage of a bus stuck under the bridge.

Part of the roof was caved in and there was broken glass on the ground.

The reason for the accident is still being investigated, PA reported. The BBC quoted a passenger who suspected that the bus had taken a wrong turn.

According to ScotRail, several train services were suspended. A year and a half ago, such an accident had already occurred at this location, the BBC reported.
