Fatal knife attack: Teenager stabbed to death on bus
London (United Kingdom) - Time and again, there are fatal clashes involving knivesin the UK. Now a teenager has been stabbed to death on a London bus!
The Metropolitan Police reported that a boy (14) suffered stab wounds on a bus at around 2.28pm (local time) on Tuesday afternoon. The incident took place in the east of the city.
Paramedics treated the pupil at the scene, but he died shortly after the emergency services arrived. The background to the incident is still unclear. The authorities are still investigating. No arrests have been made at this time, police said.
Matthew Pennycook, a Labor MP for the borough where the crime took place, wrote: "I am deeply saddened that another young life has been lost in our community today as a result of a stabbing in Woolwich Church Street. My thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased."
At the end of August 2024, there was a fatal knife attack on the street in London. In October, a woman and two children aged two and eight were injured in a knife attack.
