Paris - A fire broke out in the French capital Paris on Christmas Eve, causing a stir. Around 1200 people had to be evacuated from the Eiffel Tower!

As reported by Bild, the Eiffel Tower was closed during the incident to ensure people's safety. Firefighters quickly battled the fire, which had broken out in the area of one of the elevators.
It is suspected that the fire was caused by an overheated cable.
