According to a report in the New York Post, the incident occurred on December 7 on a domestic flight from Dellas, Texas to Minneapolis, Minnesota in the USA.

A video filmed by a passenger shows a stream of water making its way through the cabin of the plane.

In keeping with this "sinking scenario", the video clip is accompanied by the song "My Hearth Will Go On" by Celine Dion, known from the blockbuster "Titanic" (1997).

Passengers had to lift their feet and wait for landing

In an interview with the New York Post, a passenger reported that a woman had noticed the leak and informed the flight attendants. However, they were unable to do anything about the escaping masses of water.

The passengers had no choice but to put their feet up and wait until the plane landed on schedule in Minneapolis.

The airline American Airlines has not yet released a statement.
