For 180 euros: Woman tries to sell her baby on Facebook
Houston (Texas/USA) - What was she thinking? A 21-year-old from Texas is currently in custody - after she tried to sell her baby .

As the British tabloid Daily Star reported, Juniper Bryson is said to have shared pictures in a Facebook group for people looking to adopt in the hope of getting rid of her unborn son.
According to the report, she offered to bring the newborn personally to the families looking for him - no matter how far away his new home might be.
The reason why she did not contact the authorities: She had not wanted the child to officially go into foster care, as she was sure he could test positive for drugs.
Bryson is said to have contacted a total of seven interested parents. She primarily contacted same-sex couples and families who were unable to bring children into the world on their own.
But that was not all. She not only tried to sell her child via Facebook. She is also said to have demanded money from some families!
According to the report, she initially demanded 25 US dollars (around 23 euros) from one couple to buy them something to eat. She then demanded 150 US dollars (around 138 euros).
Contacted woman finally reports Bryson

When the family became suspicious, Bryson is said to have blocked and unblocked her several times before writing to them that she was no longer interested in giving them the child. "If the baby isn't worth 200 US dollars [around 183 euros, ed.] to them, then s***** on all of them!" the message reportedly said.
As the Daily Mail has since reported, traces of drugs were indeed found on the baby - shortly after Bryson gave birth. The mother herself had shown withdrawal symptoms during the birth.
The 21-year-old has since been arrested. One of the women, who had been contacted by her via Facebook, had pressed charges.
Meanwhile, the little boy was taken in by a friend of Bryson's.
