From villain to agent: Will he soon be the next James Bond?
London (UK) - He plays a merciless villain in the action thriller "Kraven The Hunter". In the British media, Aaron Taylor-Johnson (34) is being touted as the next James Bond actor . He is keeping a low profile so far.

The British actor and Marvel star is not fazed by the ongoing rumors. According to the British media, the 34-year-old is a hot candidate to succeed Daniel Craig (56) as 007 - a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Although Taylor-Johnson has not yet commented directly on the matter, the speculation has not bothered him. "No, not at all," the sought-after star told the German Press Agency in London, adding: "The best thing for me is the privilege of being able to do the job I love."
He is happy to be in a position where he can play many different roles. "It's great that I can be in a movie like 'Kraven' but then also do something like 'Nosferatu'," said Taylor-Johnson, whose stellar career began in his childhood.
The actor, who was born in High Wycombe in the UK, continued: "And the fact that I can work with great filmmakers, like Danny Boyle (68, for '28 Years Later') this year, that's what makes it so exciting for me."
Daniel Craig says goodbye to 007 role with "No Time to Die"

In the Marvel action hit "Kraven The Hunter", which is currently showing in German cinemas, Taylor-Johnson plays the anti-hero and villain of the same name from the "Spider-Man" universe, who, as the son of a gangster (Russell Crowe, 60), actually wants to take a different path.
"He just wants to be completely different from his father - and ends up being even worse," said Taylor-Johnson, who had to undergo rigorous physical preparation for the role of the muscular and, above all, merciless hunter.
There has been speculation about the next James Bond actor for years. Craig bid farewell to the role of the secret agent with the film "No Time to Die" (2021).
Even before that, there were frequent rumors about alleged successors, but these were never confirmed. The producers reportedly want an actor who is in their early to mid-30s and is committed to several 007 films.
