Cape Cod (USA) - When golden retriever Benny from the USA has his "five minutes" and won't stop annoying his owner, she has a brilliant idea and pronounces a very specific name. When the four-legged friend hears this, it immediately puts him in his place. A video of the hilarious reaction went viral on TikTok.
In the clip, you can see four-legged friend Benny from Massachusetts nibbling on his owner again and again. When the owner is fed up, but is unable to stop the dog, the American finally pulls out her bag of tricks:
"I'm going to tell Grandma," threatens the dog's owner. And then fibs: "Grandma, is that you?"
These few words are enough to make the four-legged friend freeze.
Panicked, the golden retriever looks towards the door, where he expects his grandmother - and a telling off. When he doesn't see his grandma, he continues his cheeky attack.
But his mistress doesn't let up and says: "Did you hear her? Grandma, you're going to punish Benny," lies the US-American.

As if Benny understands his owner's words, he actually lets go of her. "She'll get you into trouble," his mistress threatens amusedly.
But the golden retriever is no longer fooled. After all, his grandmother hasn't turned up yet. Without further ado, the dog bites into his owner's slipper. "You're bad," she says in frustration. She then grabs the four-legged friend's cuddly toy and blackmails him into leaving the shoe alone - with success.
