Have the Simpsons lost their crystal ball? Trump instead of Harris in the White House!
USA - This year, for a change, the Simpsons were wrong about who would win the 2024 US election !

The cult series had predicted that Kamala Harris (60) would become the next president of the United States, as the New York Post reported.
But this was not confirmed when Donald Trump (78) won the election yesterday, Wednesday.
The show, which is known for predicting future events, hinted back in 2000 that Harris could become president. In the episode "Bart to the Future", Lisa Simpson becomes the first female president of the USA.
She wears the same purple suit that the 60-year-old wore at her inauguration as Vice President in 2021 after Joe Biden (81) and Harris won the 2020 election against Donald Trump - including a pearl necklace and earrings.
The Simpsons predicted Trump's first presidency

Pictures of Lisa and Harris in their purple outfits went viral three years after the inauguration, when the Vice President replaced 81-year-old Biden as the Democratic presidential candidate for 2024 in July.
Matt Groening, the creator of the series, commented on the prediction of Trump's first presidency in an interview in 2016: "We predicted in 2000 that he would become president - but (Trump) was of course the most absurd placeholder name we could think of at the time. And that still holds true. It goes beyond satire."
The series has also correctly predicted events like the storming of the Capitol, the finale of "Game of Thrones," the coronavirus pandemic, Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime show, Disney's purchase of 20th Century Fox and more.
