He brought DFB star Füllkrug to London! German shown the door at Premier League club
London (United Kingdom) - A change of leadership at West Ham United!

As technical director and squad planner at the English Premier League club, Tim Steidten (45) was supposed to set the course for a promising future. However, the German was unable to live up to expectations and the club has now pulled the ripcord.
As the club from the north-east of the metropolis of London announced, both parties are now going their separate ways. "West Ham United Football Club can confirm that Technical Director Tim Steidten will be leaving the club," read a statement released this Tuesday morning.
The reason given for the decision is that new head coach Graham Potter (49) has brought his own squad planner with him.
As a result, the club believes it is now "time for the German to move on to new challenges". Further collaboration is therefore ruled out and the end is sealed.

"It was always my dream to work in a leading position in the Premier League. And it has indeed been a wonderful journey at a great club with great fans," explained Steidten, who has been responsible for the capital club's transfer planning since July 2023: "But in the current constellation, it's best for everyone to go their separate ways."
Under his direction, the Hammers secured the services of Niclas Füllkrug (31). However, he was heavily criticized for the £27 million deal.
The 31-year-old former BVB player has been plagued by several injuries so far, making just eleven meagre appearances - and is currently out for an extended period due to a thigh injury.
Steidten was head of scouting and sports coordinator at Bayer 04 Leverkusenfrom 2019 to 2023 .
