Her neck is to blame! Sky reporter gets "a lot of crap"
London (Great Britain) - You can never please everyone - Polly James (38) is currently learning this lesson first-hand.
The Brit is covering this year's World Darts Championship in London as a reporter for the pay-TV channel Sky Sports, regularly asking the elite of the sport of darts to appear in front of the microphone. But not everyone seems to like what they see.
As James now reveals in an interview with"The Mirror", she sees herself subjected to abuse and criticism. The reason for this is a tattoo she has on her neck.
"I get a lot of crap because of the tattoo. Even more so now, but that's because a lot of people watch darts," says the blonde, annoyed by the derogatory comments about a large rose she once had pierced.
However, she doesn't put up with it herself - and strikes back: "Say what you like about my looks, I don't care. But please don't criticize my work, because that hits me really hard and that doesn't normally happen," James continues.

In December last year, James revealed toThe Sun that she had already been vilified online in the past due to her engraved body jewelry.
"I have a really thick skin when it comes to the hate on social media about my tattoos," said James in an interview with the tabloid. "I'm really proud of my work and I wish sometimes people would judge me on my work and not my looks."
James' main job is as a radio DJ. She has been under contract with her current employer since 2020. Previously, she conducted interviews after soccer matches in the Premier League - England's top division.
