Horrific fall while walking: 69-year-old seriously injured in the face
West Wickham (Great Britain) - A walk ended in blood for a 69-year-old woman from England!

Diane Inglis was walking with her husband along Station Road in West Wickham, south-east London, on January 6.
According to the Daily Mail, she tripped over a raised manhole cover that was barely distinguishable from the sidewalk and suffered serious injuries.
Her face was bloodied and so swollen that the 69-year-old had to be treated in hospital.
The slab she tripped over was almost three centimetres higher than the sidewalk.
The municipal council has taken up the matter

After the incident, Diane reported the accident to the local council. However, no one took her seriously and was prepared to take responsibility for the obvious construction error.
Concerned about the safety of local residents, the 69-year-old then turned to the public.
Now the council finally seems to be addressing the situation and is currently examining how to proceed.
